Exporting Information

Troubleshooting

  • Can't open msinfo32 - Use full path: C:\Windows\System32\msinfo32.exe

  • Export is very large - Selectively export only needed categories instead of everything.
  • "Cannot collect information" for specific category - That component may not be present or drivers not installed.
  • Slow to open - System may be gathering information; wait a minute. Disable unnecessary startup programs if it's consistently slow.
